Renowed German news magazine Der Spiegel has claimed that remains of the paradise from which Adams and Eve were believed to be expelled are found in Gobeklitepe area , Sanliurfa / Turkey.

Published on the cover of the magazine, Archeologs suggest that the so called garden of Eden is believed to be discovered in this city, the south east of Turkey. Referring to the book "Legend", the best seller of the writer David Rohl, the magazine claims that Adam and Eve were used to live in Gobeklitepe area where they were expelled for eating the forbidden apple. Der Spiegel has devoted eleven pages to this topic. The site is still under excavation. Göbekli Tepe is the oldest human-made place of worship yet discovered.
